PRACTICE AREAS
Administrative Law and Public Contracts
Public procurement, public contract management and specialist administrative law advice.
Dealing with Brazilian public authorities requires attention to procedures, documentation and the performance of each obligation. We advise businesses and interested parties on public procurement, public contracts and administrative proceedings, combining legal analysis with an understanding of operations. Our work covers the stages of procurement and the challenges arising throughout contract performance.
HOW WE CAN HELP
Every detail matters.
- Review of tender documents, participation requirements and public procurement instruments.
- Preparation of challenges, appeals, submissions and defences in administrative proceedings.
- Advice on contract management, amendments, progress records and the delivery of works and services.
- Analysis of price adjustments, revisions, economic and financial balance and contractual disputes.
A STRATEGY FOR YOUR CASE
We review the procedure and performance records to identify the legal issue and its operational implications. Each measure is assessed against the available documents, the stage of procurement or performance, and the relevant administrative or judicial options.
A starting point
During the consultation, we identify the relevant documents and how best to structure the review.
- Tender documents, annexes, bids and procurement records.
- Contracts, amendments, progress records and performance documentation.
- Relevant notices, decisions and administrative correspondence.
